Nonetheless, the village’s kids still manage to spend their days exploring and having fun in the jungle around them. 1 such kid, Renge Miyauchi, the youngest of this group, looks ahead to the entry ceremony of the approaching school year, signalling her entrance into first grade and the commencement of her basic school life. Attending the only college in the town, Renge along with her buddies, seventh grader Natsumi Koshigaya along with her eighth grade sister Komari, create the absolute most from the rural way of life, studying and playing regular. Meanwhile, the fifth grader Hotaru Ichijou has only moved to Asahigaoka out of Tokyo, oblivious of the several memories and experiences that await her.
