Mayumi Doujima promises her family that she will abandon her ambitions of becoming an astronaut when she turns 14 years old. If she can’t find the star she saw many years ago, she will quit. Manabu Soutouin, an eccentric member of Yubiwa Academy’s Pretty Boy Detective Club, offers to help her find the star.
Mayumi’s eyesight is exceptional. She can see things ordinary people cannot. Mayumi’s eyesight is so sharp that she can see even the smallest details. She can spot people from afar and hidden traps that might otherwise go unnoticed. The Pretty Boy Detective Club becomes entangled in a far greater mystery than they could have ever imagined when the search for the lost star turns sour.
