Professor Hershel Lyton, a renowned archaeologist and puzzle-solver who is also an extraordinary gentleman, receives a mysterious letter from Janice Quatlane, containing tickets for an opera at The Crown Petone. It is not an ordinary opera. They quickly discover that it is a clever game for the legendary Fountain of Youth, who gives eternal life. This is only a small part of a larger mystery that the couple must unravel together to survive.
Professor Layton and Luke are constantly faced with difficult puzzles and fierce competition. However, they never forget to maintain the standards of true gentlemen… and a gentleman never leaves a puzzle unsolved.
