A peaceful and quiet day is broken up by the sky and extradimensional beings known as the Unknown launch a brutal attack on humanity. All children of Japan are kept safe from harm until the end the war, in order to protect their future.
After several years, humanity has made a stronghold in Japan’s corner, now serving as the frontline for the war. The children are now free from the threat of human extinction. The children are then awakened from their slumber and discover that they had created Worlds while in cryogenesis. These Worlds are supernatural powers that each individual has. The six most powerful children take control of the reclaimed towns and use their power to defend against the ongoing invasion. Tokyo is governed by childhood friends Canaria Utara and Ichiya Suzaku, while siblings Kasumi Chigusa and Asuha Chigusa are in charge of Chiba. Maihime Tenkawa, Hotaru Rindou, and Hotaru Rindou manage Kanagawa.
The almost daily attacks by the Unknown and clashing personalities among the city heads and subheads lead to petty rivalries that result in constant disputes between the three cities. The Unknown are putting increasing pressure on the leaders of the cities, and they must be taught to work together if they want to prevent humanity’s extinction.
