Fuu Kasumi is a youthful and awkward waitress who spends her days working in a little teahouse. In other words, until she accidentally spills a drink around one of her clients! With a bunch of samurai now incessantly harassing her, Fuu desperately calls upon a different samurai at the store, Mugen, who immediately defeats them together with his crazy fighting technique, using moves reminiscent of that of breakdancing. Regrettably, Mugen decides to select a fight with all the reluctant ronin Jin, that wields a precise and conventional style of swordfighting, and the latter proves to be a powerful opponent. The one issue is, they wind up ruining the whole store in addition to inadvertently killing the local magistrate’s son.For their offense, both samurai are recorded and must be implemented. Although she has a place to go back to, the former waitress wants to locate a particular samurai who smells of sunflowers and enlists the support of this now exonerated set to achieve that. Despite originally disapproving of the thought, both finally agree to help the woman in her pursuit; consequently, the trio embark upon an adventure to get this mysterious warrior–which is, even though Fuu will keep Mugen and Jin from murdering each other.Set in another Edo Period of Japan, Samurai Champloo follows the journey of those three eccentric folks within an epic quest filled with action, humor, and lively sword fighting, all set to the beat of a distinctive hip-hop infused soundtrack.
