But following the departure of his mother, Saki Arima, Kousei falls into a downward spiral, making him unable to listen to the noise of his piano. A couple of decades after, Kousei nevertheless avoids the piano, leaving his admirers and competitions, and resides a colorless life together with his buddies Tsubaki Sawabe and Ryouta Watari. But everything changes when he meets a gorgeous violinist, Kaori Miyazono, that stirs his world up and puts him on a trip to confront music . Dependent on the manga series of the exact same title, Shigatsu wa Kimi no Uso approaches the narrative of Kousei’s retrieval as he finds that audio is much more than enjoying every note perfectly, and also one tune can bring about the new spring air of April.
