In the thickness of the seas climbs an evil creature, bent on taking over the entire world: Ika Musume. She is ruthless. She is menacing. Ika Musume has come from her house in the sea on a search to punish humankind for polluting her oceans. Together with squid tentacles for hair plus a few fairly useful ink-spitting abilities, Ika Musume is certain she will not have any trouble invading Earth. What she did not account for were the Aizawa sisters, rough and tumble Eiko and mellow Chizuru, who instantly bully her to working as a waitress in their fish restaurant from the coast. Ika Musume decides to take this opportunity to find out more about the planet, having ridiculous experiences, meeting a lot of odd characters, and never letting world domination from her sights. Can Ika Musume be in a position to exact her revenge on the human race which had wronged her? Or can she learn to take pleasure in the business of those ridiculous air-breathers and let bygones be bygones?
