Sword of the Stranger Movie
At the Sengoku period of Japan, a young orphan named Kotarou along with his puppy Tobimaru slip from unsuspecting villagers so as to make ends meet. But, Kotarou is made to stay on the run when he sees himself being hunted by assassins sent by China’s Ming Dynasty for mysterious reasons not involving his petty crimes.Providentially, the duo encounter Nanashi, a ronin who has taken refuge in a little temple, even when Kotarou is assaulted and Tobimaru poisoned. Even though the samurai retains the helpless pair in their pursuers, he believes there isn’t any need to assist them but when provided a stone in exchange for his services as a bodyguard, he reluctantly takes Kotarou’s supply of employment–until Tobimaru is cured and both reach their destination. Since the three embark on a perilous trip, it becomes evident that their route is fraught with danger, as the Ming Dynasty has sent a frightful swordsman after these to catch Kotarou and meet a particular prophecy.
