The Case of Hana & Alice Movie
After moving to Ishinomori Middle School, Tetsuko”Alice” Arisugawa overhears her classmates talking a peculiar rumor. The former occupant of her chair, a nondescript”Judas,” is lost and presumed murdered–poisoned by one of the four sisters. Amidst handling her mother’s undesired meddling in her affairs and warding her off classmates’ bullying, the distressed Alice begins to inquire into the mystery surrounding Judas’ disappearance.The trail of clues leads her into the home of her neighbor, the quirky and reclusive Hana Arai. Following an embarrassing debut, Hana agrees to assist Alice and formulates a plan which can lead them to the answers they seek. The 2 women embark on a trip to discover exactly what happened to Judas, and possibly a friendship might begin to blossom between the two along the way.
