Shiki Ryougi (Mikiya Kokutou) is on edge after a series of murders in February 1999. These crimes resemble a series of similar homicides that Shiki and Mikiya committed in 1995. They awakened a dark, murderous longing within Shiki’s heart.Mikiya and Shiki were both under suspicion for their involvement in past killings and alleged resemblance with the killer. They set out to find the perpetrator. In the middle of their separate investigations Mikiya becomes more concerned about Shiki’s wellbeing and rushes to find the culprit to save Shiki from her own impulses. Mikiya, who is aided by Daisuke Akimi (police investigator), finds a lead that leads him to Mifune City. His determination to prove Shiki innocent once and for all is the only way to save her soul.
