In the year 19907 CE which means that it is the Later Liang dynasty has just assumed control over the area that is currently Northern China. A general’s daughter called Yuan Qing Li is traveling to a peaceful monastery to relax in tranquility. But a group of bandits attack her group taking her hostage and leaving her in unconsciousness. The group of bandits is then rescued by compassionate forces, only to wake up a few days later without any memories of the person she was before living a life she doesn’t believe to be her self-created. She is also aware that she’s scheduled to get married, which she doesn’t want to do. She decides to escape and disguise her identity as an adult. The martial arts lessons she learned as a child quickly become useful and she ascends to the position as a county constable. The Duke of Liang, Jing Ci, is also undercover as a shady Liang official in an attempt to uncover a shady conspiracy that could bring down the government. They team together to stop the corruption and assist Yuan Qing Li discover her real identity.
