The Third Charm is the twelve-year romance story about how two people with totally different personalities are able to meet yet again. From the age of 20-27 years old, then up to 32, will they be able to find romance for the second time? When they turn 20 years old On Joon Yeong, a 20-year-old Korean actor, is a smart, nerdy university student who is dressed in plain glasses, basic clothes and doesn’t get too obsessed with the latest fashions. He plans his life meticulously, gets annoyed easily, is easily distracted and is extremely sensitive. With the help of his buddies He participates in a date that is blind where the two meet Lee Yeong Jae. Lee Yeong Jae is also 20 years old, but doesn’t study at university and is instead employed as an assistant stylist. Lee Yeong Jae has had an extremely difficult time being an orphan, and is a huge idol to her brother Lee Soo Jae, a barista. She is hardworking, honest, and a bit daring, completely different from Oh Joon Yeong. Her goal is to be wealthy, but she prefers to achieve it by herself. In the course of her day, a friend brings her to a blind date with students at a university. In the group she meets Joon Yeong. She then has a romantic date with Joon Yeong.
