With the help of Tsume Hige, Toboe and Blue, Kiba, Cheza, and Toboe race to find true paradise before the whole world becomes uninhabitable. Cher and Hubb are now reunited and decide to go with the wolves to see the journey through. Quent, distraught and lost, wanders aimlessly in the wilderness, his mind fixed on revenge.
Lord Darcia The Third, however, has put his plan into motion and is now following Cheza. He pits him against the pack. The wolves are struggling to survive in a dangerous environment as everything crumbles and then simultaneously falls into place. Even though the end is near, paradise seems farther away than ever.
